Fanny Doodle’s Poodle

Fanny Doodle shaved her poodle
Then he shivered with the cold.
So Fanny Doodle knit a sweater
Trimmed with silver, and with gold.
Fanny Doodle’s poodle pouted,
Turned away his bone and bowl.
So Fanny Doodle used her noodle
Fed him cake and apple strudel
Til back his fur grew, curls and all.
